GeekPhoneMediaTransporter ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what the App processes when you review, transfer, edit, or delete photos and videos.
The App does not create accounts and does not send your photos, videos, metadata, credentials, usage statistics, diagnostics, or transfer history to BOMJ Labs. It contains no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics.
The App may process media files and thumbnails; filenames, sizes, dates, locations, favourite status, and other media metadata; source and destination paths; transfer and deletion choices; transfer results; application settings; and SFTP connection details. This processing provides the features you request.
Only when you choose them, the App may access a connected iPhone by USB, selected folders, the Pictures or Downloads folders, Photos libraries, external or network volumes, and user-configured SFTP servers. macOS permissions can be changed in System Settings.
Preferences, transfer history, user-set metadata, thumbnails, logs, and temporary media copies may be stored locally on your Mac. Remote previews may require a temporary full download to the App cache. Cache controls in the App let you choose retention and delete cached data.
The App connects only when a feature requires it: directly to an SFTP server you configure, or to Apple MapKit and geocoding services when you search for or resolve a place. Data sent to Apple is handled under Apple’s privacy policy. Opening the BOMJ Labs website is an explicit user action and is covered by the website privacy policy.
Saved SFTP passwords and private keys are stored in your Mac’s Keychain and configured for use only while the device is unlocked. They are used only to connect to the server you specify and are not sent to BOMJ Labs. No software or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
The App changes dates, locations, favourite status, files, or Photos library records only when you request an operation. Transfer & Delete and Delete Only can remove originals from the selected source. You are responsible for reviewing selections, maintaining backups, and having permission to access remote systems and media.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This policy may be updated by changing the date above. For questions, contact BOMJ Labs through the App Store listing, the official website, or the website feedback form.
